About

This blog will be focusing on the Constitution, its historical context, and how it applied today. It is important to recognize that at the time this document and each of its amendments were written, it was in response to something at the time. It is also important to recognize that they were written without the ability to see into the future, so the founding fathers and amendment writers can not tell us what the words of these texts should mean today. It is important to look at both historical and current contexts when interpreting the meaning of the Constitution.
